Home Repair, Workshops & Tools

We help homeowners keep their homes safe, stable, and strong through critical repairs, hands-on workshops, and a community tool library.

Critical Home Repair

Our Critical Repair Program specifically focuses on issues that affect the health and safety of the household.

It’s always best to call and discuss your home’s issue with our Organizational Coordinator. We prioritize our work based on greatest threat to health and safety, degree of urgency, and the resources we have for projects. Anyone from our team can also connect you with community resources.

Education Workshops

Our workshops foster self-empowerment, helping you build the confidence to tackle projects that keep your home safe, stable, and sustainable. Take control of your home maintenance by participating in hands-on educational workshops.

Our instructors have the skills and lived experience to repair and maintain homes. They are eager to share their knowledge to help you identify, repair, and prevent small issues from becoming unsafe or critical.

Tool Library

We know that having the right tools can be essential for maintaining a safe home or completing a project you’ve been dreaming of.

Borrow the tools, build the skills, and get the job done for less. Our tool library is open to Kalamazoo County residents and is pay-what-you-can, because everyone deserves the tools to get the job done safely.

Your home, your next step.

Whether it’s a critical repair or your next DIY project, our team is here to help.
